Where We Work: Hoover & the Birmingham Metro
We're based in Hoover and work across the Birmingham metro. Same crew, same pricing, same itemized quotes — wherever your crawl space is.
Hoover: Our Home Base
Hoover is where we work most, and its housing stock tells a clear story. The 1990s–2010s subdivisions — Ross Bridge, Greystone, Trace Crossings, Riverchase — are hitting the age where builder-grade vapor barriers fail. The older neighborhoods — Bluff Park, Patton Chapel — have classic crawl-space construction with decades of moisture history. And all of it sits on Shelby County red clay that swells, shrinks, and pushes water at foundations year-round. We know these houses because we're under them every week.
Dedicated area pages for our most-served Hoover neighborhoods:
Bluff Park
Older ranch and split-level homes with original crawl-space construction — the neighborhood where we most often find decades of deferred moisture and the biggest transformations.
Bluff Park services →Ross Bridge
2000s builds where the original builder membranes are aging out right on schedule. Encapsulation here is usually membrane replacement plus the dehumidifier the builder skipped.
Ross Bridge services →Greystone
Hillside lots and heavy red clay — hydrostatic pressure is the headline issue. Drainage design matters as much as the barrier on these properties.
Greystone services →Riverchase
Established 80s–90s subdivisions with mature trees and aging drainage. Root intrusion in old drain lines and settled grading are the usual suspects.
Riverchase services →More Hoover Neighborhoods We Serve
Lake Cyrus
Lakeside lots with high water tables in spots — sump pump design gets extra attention here, and battery backup is worth discussing.
Trace Crossings
Similar vintage to Ross Bridge with the same membrane-aging story. Many homes here are due for their first real crawl space intervention.
Patton Chapel
Mix of older and newer construction along the corridor. The older sections have the classic vented-crawl-space moisture profile.
Cahaba Heights
Smaller lots, older homes, tight crawl spaces — access difficulty is the main cost variable on these jobs.
Shades Mountain
Sloped lots where water management starts outside: grading and gutter discharge matter enormously before anything goes under the house.

Birmingham Metro
We work across the metro with the same crew and the same pricing. A few notes on what we see in each area:
Birmingham
Older housing stock, especially in neighborhoods like Forest Park and Redmont Park, where we more often find structural repair needs alongside moisture — rotted sills, damaged joists from decades of deferred maintenance. The encapsulation costs the same; the pre-work varies. Birmingham services →
Vestavia Hills
Hillside construction with water management challenges similar to Greystone. Established neighborhoods with 70s–90s homes hitting the age where full systems make sense.
Mountain Brook
High-value homes where inspection-grade documentation matters — many of our Mountain Brook jobs come from pre-listing or post-inspection situations.
Homewood
Mix of charming older bungalows (tight crawl spaces, original construction) and newer infill. The older homes keep us honest about repair-before-sealing.
Trussville
Growing suburb with 90s–2000s subdivisions entering the membrane-replacement window. Straightforward encapsulation territory.
Helena & Pelham
Rapid growth, newer construction — many homes still on original builder membranes that are starting to show their age.
Alabaster
Similar profile to Helena/Pelham. We cover the full 35080 corridor and surrounding areas.
